Servicing in New Jersey

11:59 am – We’re Open!

Licensed Professional

A professional plumber will be licensed, insured, and bonded. You should be able to see their license number indicated on their vehicle and it should be the same listed in any of their advertisement.

Referrals

Almost as important as a license, is credible referrals. You should ask someone who has received plumbing services if they would recommend their service to someone else. If they cannot, continue looking until you find a plumber that someone is capable of recommending for your job.

Estimates

A reputable service provider will offer to come to your home to inspect the proposed work. Upon seeing what is required, they will then provide you with a written estimate of the total cost of services. Make sure you find out if the estimate offered will be a flat rate or an hourly rate.

Insurance

Make sure the service provider has worker’s compensation and liability insurance for their employees. This is important so that you are not held responsible should anyone injure themselves while doing work in your home.

Guarantee/Warranty

You should ask the plumber what kind of guarantee they offer? Make sure that your Checklist for Hiring a Plumber has your ideal guarantee on it. When will you receive an agreement in writing? Which will guarantee when the work will be completed?

What is the work is not done properly? These questions should be addressed in a written guarantee prior to the start of the job.
